Ok, I'm in. Thanks, past.
So, even though I can't read the Polish sections, I'll learn. Heck, I even picked up some Japanese and German years ago. I like this site and the various units shown in the gallery. You folks have done a tremendous job getting your units together and that M16 halftrack is killer. We have several living history units in the States. Some have their own air support of Mustangs, P-47s, C-47s and bombers. (That's way too expensive for me.) I'd like to point out something and I AM NOT criticizing your great work: carbines had no bayonet lugs during WWII and our flag had 48 stars.
Your uniforms and webgear are right-on. Are they repros or original? Do the .50s on the M16 work? Can you own full-autos? If the moon were made of green cheeze, would we be surrounded by space rats? Ok, I ask too many questions.
I can't see the cursor on this screen.

Hello Rick
I would answer you
1. Cursor - yes we to can not see it , it is minus of this skin, I'm not an IT specialist , I used readu to use skin.
2. Our guns - in Poland we could have only resin replicas and Air Soft Guns.
In some events we rent guns , but only Mosin , Mauser , MP40 , and KBKAK (polish version of Kalasnikov)
in events in Czech Republic - Czech reenactors have M1 Rifle , M1 Carbine and ..... all.
4. and bayonets , for Garand ASG is technical problem , but for M1 Carbine , i think that M4 Bayonet was after WWII.
We have some problems with materials about GI from WWII , in Poland we do nto have man books , We try to be better and better .
And if you will ahve any critical and not critical suggestions we are OPEN for it. !!
5. this .50 do not work it is deactivated - see inside it is Kalasnikov.
6. If you want write in english in other subforums - I wrote second english translation of names.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR REGISTRATION IN OUR FORUM !!!

Thank you for the warm welcome and please don't applogize for the english. You know way more english than I do Polish. I will give any information you may want about American military items. A friend of mine deals in WWII American gear. His home is like a warehouse.
I have been collecting military things for many years. I have my grandfather's WWI uniform and mess kit; my father's WWII, Korean War and modern uniforms until he retired in 1980 as a colonel in the army. I have a WWII sergeant's combat uniform, helmet, web gear, leggings, boots, .45 and M1, all original. I also have a complete WWII German Colonel 's uniform. A WWII German Feldwebel combat uniform with all of the gear from helmet to boots and a K98 rifle made in 1944. I have a Vietnam combat rig (helmet to boots) given to me by a guy who was in the 101st airborne. He gave me his duffle bag filled with all of his belongings including the short M-16 canvas pouches that were only made in 1967 for airborne units. I would like to add a Russian WWII combat collection as well as Japanese. Those both seem to be hard to get. The Japanese wore their clothes until they rotted, so there are very few to be had. But I will keep looking.
I really appreciate your welcome.

I'll see what I can do, Pawel.
Here is a site you folks might like. Check out the ME-262 Project. A company in the state of Washington is building 5 ME-262s. There is a video of one flying at an air show in Germany. It is now owned by Messerschmitt. If you not have the Google Player you will have to download it.

I will see what I can do to let you know where to find original GI WWII books. I have a few in my collection so I know you can buy them. The best book is called "Doughboy To GI". It covers EVERYTHING about the US soldier from 1917 to 1945 and is in color.

If you can have AKs, why not other firearms? I ask because I am confused and would think Poland, among all other Eastern Europen countries, would want their people armed like the Swiss or USA. We have about 200 million guns owned here, with 10 million more bought each year, and the violent crime rate has been dropping each year since 1990. I am trying to learn about your society.
We love AKs. They work no matter what the condition.
Of course, the democrats who will be controlling the new Congress next year will once again try to disarm us as they did in 1994 and put us in harm's way with criminals and the democrat's communist ways. We will not not let them. The democrat leaders openly support the terrorists and work to weaken the USA. It is America's fortune that the NEW elected democrats agree with our Consititution and not the leaders of their party and have told them so. But, they are politicians and can't really be trusted. We will see and fight for our rights if they step over the line. I am not a Republican as such. I am a patriot who knows our Constitution. Republicans have also helped to destroy this nation. Both are not innocent.
Total freedom means everything to me. For 231 years we have fought for liberty with the blood and lives of many thousands and I, and many others, do not intend to allow the forces of evil to steal those lives given in noble defense of those who were, and are, oppressed.
Ok, I got a little long and political in my reply.

Books
I bought a few in ebya and amazon.com.
Guns
In Poland we can not have guns , it is not USA , we have very very big problems with buy gun. By this way we are using AirSoftGuns
But AK, mosin - in poland are firms , which rent guns for "movie production" and they could rent guns for events.
completly different situation is in Czech Republic.
See our gallery fron event in Czech Republic

I am sure this is none of my business and I know Poland is not the USA but, I would think that after Poland was hammered by Nazis and then communists, she would want her people to be armed to prevent those days from happening again. It was because of the British that we are armed today. That's just my thought on it.
Should things change in Poland, Norway has lots of Garands. We have been importing them back for a few years. They are all US made and given to Norway after WWII.
Norway also has German helmets and K98 rifles rebarreled in 30.06. I wish I could look through some attics in Europe and Russia. No telling what I might find.
